I received this SMS last New Year's Eve from a close girl-friend (not girlfriend!). While I was browsing my old messages last night, I realized that it is worth sharing - it's inspiring. And it goes like this...


Most of us miss out on life's big prizes...
The Pulitzer
The Nobel

Oscars
Tonys
Grammys

...but we are all eligible for life's small pleasures...
A pat on the back.
A good word from a pal.
A hug.

A full moon.
A glorious sunset.

An empty parking space.
A great meal.
A good joke.

A hot soup.
A cold drink.
An ice cream.

A "Thank you."

So don't fret about missing life's grand rewards. Enjoy it's tiny delights!

There are plenty for all of us... Grab 'em!
