My friends-blockmates-orgmates-01/berkmates Marien and May will pursue their respective masters studies abroad this year. May has left the country few hours ago to take up Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Ohio State University. Marien, on the other hand, will have her flight tomorrow morning for Singapore where she will take up Master in Engineering. She is a scholar of Asian Universities Network - Southeast Asian Education Development (AUN-SEED) at the National University of Singapore. They organized joint and separate despedidas (Marien at least had her "pakain") this month of July.

I'll be having my 5th interview at HP Ayala tomorrow morning. Apart from the four previous interviews I had at Robinson's Summit Center, I also had one at San Miguel Properties Center in Ortigas.

I hope, now that I am out of Trend Micro, I will finally land an acceptable position (and compensation) in Hewlett-Packard. Wish me luck guys!

Saying that last night's LOVERAGE Rock Concert (UP Fair's Tuesday show) was a blast is an understatement. It was my org's first UP Fair stint and we kicked asses!!! (Especially those of the other orgs... Haha!) Bamboo was the main and exclusive performer of the night and other notable bands such as Calla Lily, Sugarfree, Itchyworms, etc. literally and figuratively made some noise.

"ONIN signing on..."

The heading of this post aims not to pre-determine the fact that someday this blog will surely come to an end, a sign-off in other words. I just want to welcome myself (no one could probably do it for me) in an endeavor I missed for two decades. Writing on a journal was not as interesting as eating my favorite ice cream or watching a good TV show or playing the latest computer game. Not until today, ten days before my 21st birthday, I decided to create my autobiography through this online diary. A story of my life that is open to everyone else.

I am Niño De Jesus Eustaquio, born 6 September 1984. As of writing, I am taking up my bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering at the University of the Philippines – Diliman College of Engineering. Currently, I am on my fifth year, hoping to graduate soon. Asian in complexion with a drop of Aryan-German descent from my paternal grandmother, I am a 5’7” – 140 lbs. simple guy with black eyes and black straight hair.

Okay, too much of my particulars; I bet, you will get to know me more as time flies away so rapidly. Welcome to my life: “Captain of the Ship”. Be acquainted with the man who is in full control of his own destiny, with the help of God Almighty – the true Master and Commander.
